High quality shirting fabrics are woven from threads where 80 - 100 meters weigh 1 gram.
In a full twist yarn, 2 extremely fine threads are twisted into each other, creating a new thread.
This gives the fabric a high degree of stability. This increases the ease of care and causes the fabric to naturally uncrease.
In addition, colors get more brilliance, giving the shirt its valuable character.
A Befeni full-twist shirt feels especially smooth and soft, yet is extremely durable.
A "40 double" (also 40/2) consists of two twisted threads, of which 40 meters of a single thread weigh 1 gram each.
Qualities in full-twisted yarn start at "40 double", i.e. 40/2. Threads in high-quality full-twisted shirts often weigh 1 gram per 100 meters (100/2) or 120 meters (120/2).
Only rarely can the finest qualities be found where the thread weighs 1 gram per 40 or more meters (40/2).
